out of touch

Out of Touch examines how identity becomes increasingly obscured as daily life shifts into the digital realm. Black plexiglas squares reference the screen as a void that both reflects and erases us. Coloured vinyl-covered plexiglas discs evoke the tactility of records, suggesting how our data and identities are continually layered, stored, and replayed. Their physical presence contrasts with the intangibility of digital experience, while the central fittings allow subtle rotation, reinforcing ideas of repetition and reproduction. The series invites viewers to reflect on what is lost when the physical world recedes from everyday life.
